I recently came across this article published in May 2015 by https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com. I need to research as to what further progress has been made, but the final paragraph caught my eye:
“The U.S. lags far behind other countries. Britain, the Philippines, India, Argentina, Turkey, Mexico, and several other countries already have women on their paper currency.”
